Our production unit also manufactures a range of customized products. The materials and technologies we specialize in are used in many exciting applications, including in the marine sector. For customers such as Macgregor Cranes and Dockstavarvet, we have over the years, for example, manufactured the cabins for the large ship cranes and components for Battleship 90. We have also subcontracted a number of parts to BAE Systems.
Process equipment
Örnalp Unozon produces a range of customized products such as equipment and machined parts for the process industry. Examples include screws, shafts, troughs, trays, collection vessels and insertion tubes. These non-pressurized products are of the same high quality as Örnalp Unozon’s other products. The materials and technologies we specialize in are used in many different applications.

We specialize in titanium welding.
Titanium welding! Most of the time we work with homogeneous material, which is often both the best and most economically advantageous. Sometimes, however, other solutions are required, such as explosive bonding or loose lining, where a vessel is lined with a thin sheet of titanium. Titanium is difficult to weld and requires special skills and protected environments as the material changes if it comes into contact with oxygen during welding.
We weld according to standard EN ISO 3834-2 and all Örnalp Unozon welders are licensed to ensure a high and consistent quality of work.
